Lara Gobec (born 2001, Celje) is a poet, performer, and critic. She has collaborated with the Slovene National Theatre Drama Ljubljana, appearing in the theatrical performance To Dream? (Sanjati?, directed by Žiga Divjak) in 2017. In 2019, her dramatic text was staged as part of the staged reading performance Intimacy (Intima, directed by Luka Marcen).In 2020, she was a finalist in the Mala Veronika poetry competition and, in the same year, received the Župančičeva Frulica poetry award. Her poems have been published on LUD Literatura’s website, as well as in the literary journals Novi Zvon, Poetikon, and Spirala, and in the anthology And the Earth Vibrated Like a Living Body (In zemlja je vibrirala kakor živo telo), an anthology of young poets from Celje. She is currently studying law and comparative literature in Ljubljana. In 2024, her debut poetry collection, Ribbed Blinds (Rebraste žaluzije), was published by LUD Šerpa.
